Kodiak Support

This page contains tools and instructions for our customers use.  If you need to use these tools to open a support session, please contact our IT staff at (989) 344-2166.

Notice:  This application allows Kodiak IT Services to gain remote control of your computer.  This means that, once connected, our IT Consultant will be able to see everything you see on your screen, control your mouse and keyboard, and transfer files back and forth.

The only way we can access your system remotely is by obtaining your consent.  By running this application, you give consent to Kodiak IT Services so that they may control your computer remotely for the duration of your support session.  Once the session is terminated Kodiak IT Services cannot resume remote control unless you re-initiate it by running the application again.

If you consent to let Kodiak IT Services take remote control of your computer, follow the instructions below:

Step 1

Download the Kodiak Support Application by clicking on the download button below.

Download

When prompted to save or run, select 'Run'.

Step 2

When prompted by the security warning select 'Run' again.

Step 3

You should now see the Kodiak Group Support Application.  Our IT Consultant can provide you with the Session and Password you'll need.  Enter them into the correct boxes and press the Connect button.

Step 4

A small box like this should pop up.  This keeps you informed of activity in the application.  At this point our IT Consultant has control of your system.  If the "Input Locked" light in the lower left of the box is lit, your ability to control your mouse and keyboard have been temporarily suspended.  The "Traffic" light on the left side blinks when data is sent to or from your computer by the application.

Step 5

When your support session is over our IT Consultant will terminate the connection.  You should see the Support Application window again.  You may close the window by clicking the 'Quit' button.  Your support session has been concluded.
