Kodiak Helps Customer Dramatically Improve Pattern Changing System 9/1/2007
Kodiak receives an order to Engineer and supply an automated pattern changing system for a large format jolt-squeeze line. The new equipment will reduce the foundry’s current pattern change time by more than 90%.





Kodiak Works On-Site to Design a Pipe Plant 8/1/2007
Kodiak received an order to do the General Arrangement and Final Design engineering on a Ductile Pipe plant. Kodiak’s design responsibilities include the Hot Metal Rail Car Lines, Treatment Car Process, Pipe Cooling Conveyors, Pipe De-burring Stations, Cement Lining Stations, Washing Stations, and Pipe Palletizing Areas, as well as several foundation designs. Working closely with the customer in an on-site capacity the Kodiak design team has been able to present several innovations to streamline the process while moving along a very aggressive schedule.



Kodiak Designs Crusher System for Michigan 7/1/2007
Kodiak is selected as the Engineering company to design a new screening, classification, and recirculation crusher system for a Michigan quarry. The complete system includes foundations, building structures, conveyors, screen supports, and access platforms.



Kodiak Helps Customer Smooth Out Production Bottlenecks 6/2/2007
Kodiak is selected to provide concept engineering to eliminate production bottlenecks in the finishing room for a customer’s wood processing facility. Kodiak provided various concepts for ongoing meetings leading to finalized layouts.

Kodiak Group has recently become a Lenovo dealer. For those not familiar with the Lenovo name, they produce the Thinkpad line of laptop computers, formerly produced by IBM. We can now offer competitive prices on Thinkpad and ThinkCenter workstations as well as other products from the Lenovo line. This is in addition to partnering with Linksys, Polycom, Computer Associates, Microsoft, Crucial Memory and others.



Kodiak Engineers Radial Stacker Conveyor 6/1/2007
Kodiak receives an order to Engineer a new radial stacker conveyor design. As a standard equipment provider, the customer required certain design flexibilities to allow them to offer a number of configuration options.



Kodiak Computer Services Grows! 5/1/2007
Good news! Kodiak Computer Services, the IT portion of Kodiak Group, has added Chris Fisher to it's roles as an IT Consultant. Chris comes to us after completing his Bachelor's in Information Technology at CMU.



Kodiak Designs Automated Brinell Tester 4/2/2007
Kodiak receives an order to design a high production Automated Brinell Tester for this customer’s railroad wheel plant. This customized hydraulically actuated system receives a wheel from the line and positions, mill faces, and then completes a brinell test. The wheel is then directed to the next process or sent for further inspection. Test data is entered into the wheel tracking and numbering system. Wheels enter and test on 45 second cycles.



Kodiak Designs Coke Conveyors 2/1/2007
Kodiak received a purchase order to Design five truss style belt conveyors handling Coke for an installation in Wyoming. These included a 200ft long tripper conveyor inside a Pre-engineered building supplied by another manufacturer and a declining conveyor that had an 80ft free span between supports.



Kodiak Updates Cupola Flue Gas Treatment Systems 10/1/2006
Kodiak receives orders to Engineer two Cupola Flue Gas Treatment Systems that provide 1000 degree hot blast air at two of this customer’s facilities. The Engineering incorporates new equipment to replace the outdated baghouse emission control systems with state of the art treatment technology and bring both plants into compliance with Federal standards.
